How To Be a Real Ghostbuster and a Ghost Hunter

These days, a lot of people want to become real life ghostbusters and start investigating for paranormal activity with their own real ghostbuster team. If you want to become a real ghostbuster, then you must have a scientific attitude. Being skeptical is natural, but you should also be analytical. Before you jump to paranormal conclusions for a situation, make sure there is no scientific explanation for it. When you for an investigation, do not expect that you will definitely see something paranormal or supernatural because often there will be a logical explanation for what you might see.
Interviewing the occupants of the place where you are investigating and/or any witnesses should be the first step of your investigation. Examine the people for physical conditions, like poor eyesight, and psychological conditions that might cause them to believe that they are seeing ghosts. Examine the place for chemicals that might cause magnetic fields, hallucinations, or anything that is not normal. Also review the structure of the place. If a building or a structure is tilting, the breaking of objects from within is often mistaken for poltergeist activity.
If there is nothing wrong with a building and the witnesses, then you should begin looking for paranormal explanations. You should start by checking lighting conditions and measuring changes in temperature. If you can afford it, then monitor gravitational fields and radiation levels too. You will be able to check for a physical haunting this way. It might be a perpetual haunting if you cannot find any physical evidence. The truth is that 60% to 70% of legitimate hauntings are actually perpetual.
There are very few effective methods of getting rid of a ghost. Often, the problem can be solved if a person's frame of mind is changed. The situation only becomes worse when someone becomes frightened. Altering the environment is the first thing that should be done when the environment is being physically affected by a poltergeist, like doors are being open and shut, or household objects are being broken. At times, when nothing else works, more extreme solutions like relocation or exorcism become necessary.
Before you start investigating for paranormal activity, make sure you have the right equipment. Having the following supplies around will be handy in case you actually find a ghost:
- Notebook: So that you can jot down feelings, observations and anything else.
- Video Camera: So you can record video footage of different areas and analyze it later.
- Audio Recorder: It is important that you keep a recorder running during your investigation so that it can pick up EVP that you can also analyze later.
- PKEmeter: The PKEmeter gives readings of PKE or Psycho Kinetic Energy and can be used to track ghosts.
- Weather Thermometer: To measure changes in temperature.
- Magnifying Glass: To study suspicious smudges or small objects.
- Tape Measure: To measure distances accurately.
Becoming a real ghostbuster is not an easy thing to do. You must have an open mindset and you must be very patient. At the same time, you must also have the right equipment as well. With the right equipment and the right mindset, nothing can stop you from becoming a real ghostbuster and finding ghosts.
